Booking and payment
Bookings via the booking platform at the respective offers on www.queertravel.ch. Places are allocated according to the order in which bookings are received. You will receive a written confirmation of your booking by e-mail. From this moment on, the booking is binding and legally valid, and the "General Terms and Conditions" are accepted by you. The total amount is due immediately.
Requirements for participation
When registering, please inform us of any health problems or risks that may affect the smooth running of the program. We can then advise you and, if necessary, suggest a suitable offer. Most of the offers, especially hiking, skiing and biking tours require specific technical skills, condition and equipment. The requirements are listed in the offer. By booking, you declare that you meet the requirements for participation in the corresponding offer. If a participant does not meet the requirements, and if this causes additional costs, he or she is obliged to bear these costs. Likewise, he or she may be excluded from the tour for safety reasons. In this case, there is no right to a refund.
Program changes
An important factor for outdoor activities are the weather conditions. Trips and tours usually take place in all weather conditions but may undergo changes in routes and length for safety reasons. However, Queer Travel Switzerland reserves the right to adjust the program and/or change the area in case of unfavorable conditions. We will do our best to offer you an adequate substitute and to inform you in time about the change to another area. Nevertheless - especially for safety reasons - program changes may be necessary at short notice. With your registration, you agree to a rebooking in another area or to changes in the program. Any additional costs (e.g. cable car rides, cab, surcharge for accommodation, etc.) will be borne by the participants, and any reduced expenses will be reimbursed.
In exceptional situations (e.g. very high avalanche danger, cancellation of the group guide, thunderstorms, floods) Queer Travel Switzerland can cancel a tour or trip even at short notice. The registered participants will be refunded all amounts already paid minus deposits to hotels, agencies and guides that Queer Travel Switzerland does not get back. Further claims are excluded.
Duties of the participants
All participants will receive detailed information for their preparation. They also include important equipment requirements. Being outdoors means being prepared for all situations. The requirements for the participants are declared in the description of the offer on www.queertravel.ch. A distinction is made between endurance and technical requirements. The participants commit themselves to mutual attentiveness and helpfulness within the group as well as to environmentally conscious and consensus-oriented behavior. In the event of an incident, you will not disclose information about the tour, the incident or any persons involved to the public without consulting the management of Queer Travel Switzerland.
Participants are responsible for informing themselves about and complying with passport, visa and health regulations, as well as any changes to that, prior to departure.
Insurance
Personal insurance coverage is the responsibility of each participant.
Cancellation
If you cannot participate in a tour or offer that has already been booked, please inform us immediately. If you provide us with a substitute person who will participate under the same conditions, you will incur no or low rebooking costs. In all other cases, cancellation fees will be charged as follows:
Cancellation 30 days before the start of the tour: 50 % of the total price
Cancellation 29 days or less before departure: 100 % of the total price
If you cancel a trip or tour on your own decision or if you do not show up, there will be no refund. Queer Travel Switzerland recommends that you take out travel insurance in advance, which will cover the costs in the event of an early return or cancellation.
Liability
Our guides offer you the greatest possible safety, which, however, can never be absolute due to the special dangers in the great outdoors and in the mountains. With your participation, you acknowledge these dangers. Participation is in any case at your own risk. Liability and compensation claims against Queer Travel Switzerland or Pink Alpine are excluded.
Protection of personal data / Privacy
Your personal information will only be used internally by Pink Alpine and in connection with your booked tour or trip.
Pink Alpine attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and the security of the deposited data. Pink Alpine takes all usual and reasonable measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

Guarantee fund of the Swiss travel industry
As a travel provider, Pink Alpine is a participant in the Guarantee Fund of the Swiss Travel Industry and guarantees you the security of the contributions paid in connection with the booking of a package tour as well as your return journey. The guarantee fund is financed by the entrance fees, the annual contributions of the participants and by the returns on assets. The system costs for the legal travel guarantee are shared by the consumer. The tour operators and travel agents participating in the guarantee fund charge a contribution for this on the price of the package tour booked by you. This amount may be explicitly and separately stated, included in the booking fee or implicitly included in the total price of your trip. You can get detailed information here.
